Come and visit us at the Moonlight Market in Thorndon Park.  The kiosk is open and we will have a BBQ on the go.  So if you are after a hotdog, nuggets, fish, chips, a drink or icecream and much more drop by and know you are assist a number of worthy local and international projects.

February is the month of love and a time to celebrate people you love, whether it’s your significant other, your family or your friends.

Let’s get together and bring along the ones you love to the Kensington Gardens Reserve.  BYO food, Drinks, Plates, Cutlery etc. There are on-site tables and benches but recommend to BYO Chairs.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

The 2024 theme is Inspire Inclusion.

The guest speaker for the 2024 International Women's Day breakfast is Jennifer Charles. Jennifer is a couturier seamstress which has taken her around the World. She has worked at an Haute Couture fashion house in London including travelling to Paris for Fashion Week on several occasions and working on a gown worn by Angelina Jolie.

The RC of Morialta have booked a table of 10 for the event.  If members wish to attend, please confirm with Rosemary Padmanabhan (0426 507 075)

Campbelltown Council are conducting a Multicultural Festival on Saturday 23 March at the Campbelltown Library from 10 am until 2pm. Club members Gopal, Shipra and Afzal are involved in activities on the day and Council have asked us to cook and serve a free BBQ for those attending the days action which will showcase various elements of the lives of the people that make up our Community. Food, games and traditions will be on show.

We will need helpers to cook and serve the BBQ in these hours so if you can assist between 9.30 am and 2pm contact Gopal or Paul Haylock.

Hi everyone, we have again been asked to provide help with the water station this year.

We know a number of members enjoy helping on this day and it’s an early part of the morning, but it will be over to allow all of you to go to your normal Mother’s Day appointments.

We would appreciate if you could advise your availability as we need to know numbers to ensure we have enough members etc, so if you could indicate if you are unable or able to help.

Please invite family or friends as well.

We will be in the same location as last year.

• South Side of the Torrens, near Jolley’s Boathouse.

• Time approx. 7.00am Finish 10.30/11.00am depends on numbers.

They are hoping to offer some parking. Still to be notified if they are able to arrange an alternative.

You might say why we can’t park in the Torrens Parade grounds, because the State Government have taken over the Parade Ground & they are going to charge the organisers for the parking etc.

So, we will need to find some alternative parking, or we carpool with minimum cars to park somewhere close to the Boathouse. We could find a no charge location, meet there & use minimum cars to the Boathouse.

We have also been asked to provide 2 members to help at the University Bridge as guides, we usually have a few members extra once we are set up.
